Year 3 / Interim Project

Interpretations is an anticipated annual art exhibition hosted at the prestigious Srishti Institute, serving as a captivating centerpiece during the final open house for the Interim unit. I had an amazing opportunity to brand this entire event, with this project visually embodying the event's brand identity.

Deciding upon what logo to go was an interesting task as we want to the logo not ‘corporate’ and add an element of fun in it. After brainstorming for a while, we came up with using different glyphs instead of some letters and finised the logo after some more refining.

COLOUR PALETTE & FONTS
INVITE POSTER

With funky hand-drawn illustrations created by my team member, I designed some eye-catching invite posters. These posters were strategically placed across Yelahanka, Bangalore, to create a buzz and excitement about the upcoming event. Additionally, digital versions were designed for distribution via email and posted on various social media platforms, ensuring a dynamic reach.

WRISTBANDS
CREW MERCH

Given the influx of attendees for various talks, we opted to engage them through various short podcasts. We conceptualized it as a series to be featured on our college YouTube channel.

My primary role was of handling all aspects of production, including managing cameras, lighting, and editing all the podcasts.

FLOOR-SPECIFIC &
BUILDING-SPECIFIC POSTERS

MAP OF THE CAMPUS —

STILL FROM THE PERFORMANCE - ‘JEEVA PRAVAHA’
One of the important aspects I had to consider was wayfinding around the campus. Taking into consideration the differences between each building and floor, as well as how to make it look aesthetically pleasing, we developed the concept of using isometrics to divide all the floors of buildings.

AUDIENCE ASSEMBLING FOR PERFORMANCE ART - ‘SLACKLINE’
Subsequently, we implemented blown-up isometrics of each floor for the floor-specific navigation boards. The idea of using colors to represent each building arose later, as we believed it would be more convenient for people unfamiliar with every building to distinguish between them. We also included important aspects like places for drinking water, restrooms, medical and wellness rooms throughout all these posters.
